Hope, Faith, Salvation
Life-Saving Ministries is dedicated to bringing you the truth and hope you urgently need for the salvation of your life. God loves you deeply and wants you to know that the true path to salvation and restoration to His original purpose is through Jesus Christ alone.
Our mission is driven by the words of Christ to:
Love God with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind (Matthew 22:37),
Love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:39),
And go into the whole world and preach the good news (Matthew 28:19-20).
We believe in the following foundational truths:
Born Again: We must be born again to see the Kingdom of God. As Jesus said in John 3:5, "Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit." Every human born of the flesh must also be born of the Spirit.
Salvation Through Belief: To be saved, we must believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead and confess Jesus as Lord. As stated in Romans 10:9, "If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
The Trinity: There is only one God, and in Him, we have the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit—three in one, in perfect harmony. As 1 John 5:7 states, "For there are three that testify: the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement." This is a divine mystery, understood not by human minds but by the revelation of the Holy Spirit.
Personal Decision: Each person must make the individual decision to accept God's gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Revelation 3:20 says, "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me." God will not force His love upon us; the choice is ours.
The Holy Spirit's Presence: When we believe in Jesus and confess Him as Lord, He comes to live inside of us through the Holy Spirit, who will always be with us. John 14:17 says, "The Spirit of truth... lives with you and will be in you."
Spiritual Growth: We must commit to studying the Word of God, praying, fasting, and living our lives in obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit, as guided by the Scriptures so that we can bear godly fruit in our lives. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Living a Godly Life: We are called to live godly and content lives, free from greed and selfishness. As 1 Timothy 6:6-8 says, "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that."
Humility: We must always remain humble, adopting the attitude of Jesus Christ, not thinking highly of ourselves or harboring selfish ambitions, but considering others above ourselves. Philippians 2:3-4 says, "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your interests but each of you to the interests of the others."
Pleasing God: It is better to please God than to please man. Galatians 1:10 says, "Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ."
Jesus Christ: Life Saver: Jesus is a lifesaver, not simply a problem solver. While He can solve problems, His primary mission is to save lives. Luke 19:10 says, "For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost." Jesus came to give us eternal life, not just to fix our temporary issues.
Repentance: We must repent, which means turning away from sin (living in darkness) and coming to the Light—Jesus Christ—so that we can be reconciled to God. 1 John 1:7 says, "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." We may not be perfect or sinless, but if we walk in the light, sin will no longer have dominion over us. 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."
Life-Saving Ministries is here to help you embrace these truths and walk the path of salvation through Jesus Christ. God loves you, and His desire is for you to live a restored life according to His perfect purpose.
